Cooperative Development

LEARN’s cooperative development program will work in tandem with the education, organizing, and research programs in order to cater to the needs of existing workers’ cooperatives and workers who seek to organize their own cooperatives. However, LEARN will also be working towards establishing demonstration sites of Genuine Workers’ Cooperatives – workers-owned and worker-run socio-economic enterprises.

• LEARN Institute for Cooperative Development (LEARN ICD)

The LEARN Institute for Cooperative Development provides venues to develop prototypes of worker-owned-and-worker-run enterprises. It combines research, education, and cooperative organizing as tools for the development of demonstration sites of genuine workers’ cooperatives.
